Importance of Scripture

The topic that sparked my interest into starting this blog was the general disregard by women when it comes to deep study of the Bible. Putting aside the great debate of whether women should teach or not, a topic for a later date, I do believe that it is crucial for women to study the Word of God. I have been so blessed through my studies of the Scriptures and I am so excited to share that same joy with other women. As we study God's design for our lives in today's culture, it is important to also take a look at the women who have gone before us. The Bible holds many accounts of women and their interactions with the Gospel as well as how they conducted their lives as a result.

Hospitality

Hospitality is a major part of my ministry. There is something so special about opening up your home and investing in others. Throughout our study of hospitality, we will take a look at the unique connection between hospitality and humility and how we can use our God-given abilities in service of others. Hospitality is more than cooking a meal, and our gifts are meant for something bigger than ourselves. Throughout this blog we will take a look at humility, service, the reason behind it all, and simply how we can practically apply this to our everyday lives.

Actively Waiting

One area of my faith which I have been personally convicted of is the area of patience. One very interesting topic which we will dive into together is the topic of what it looks like to experience the joy and blessings of God while actively waiting for His promises. This may apply relationally or in His enduring promises of hope. Wherever God may be calling you to patience, I am excited to explore the truths found in His Word.
